Mr. Brightside

Eridan dug his fingernails into his sides as he watched Sollux be all lovey dovey with Feferi.
"Oh Sollux!" Feferi giggled, her cheeks tinted pink, "Stop! Your making me blush."
"Thorry Fef. I can't help it. Your just tho beautiful!"
She giggled again and Eridan gritted his teeth together, clenching his eyes shut, trying to block out the sound. Her obnoxious laugh was making his skin crawl. He rubbed his temples, words swimming around in his think pan. He was begining to seriously hate his Morial and that wasn't good. He didn't want to hate her, but his flushed feelings were getting in the way. The only feelings he felt toward Feferi were pale ones, but he was certain he was flushed for Sollux. Apparently so was Feferi. He clearly remembered how it all started. He found annoying  Sollux to be amusing and that's exactly what he had been doing that day.

"Eridan I thwear to gog if you don't go the fuck away I'm going to kith you!"
"Wwhatevver Sol," he replied with a smirk that Sollux returned.
"You don't think I'll do it do you?"
"I dare you!"
Eridan barly got the sentence out before he felt soft, velvet like lips on his, and he realized Sollux was kissing him. The lowblood hadn't hesitated either. It didn't take long for Eridan to kiss back, parting his lips ever so slightly and feeling the other's double forked tongue probe his mouth. A hand reached up to caress one of Eridan's horns, causing him to whimper in ecstasy, grinding his hips into the other troll, whose other hand had already slipped under his shirt, stroaking his gills. When the kiss did break, Sollux's lips stayed busy, kissing, nipping and sucking their way down Eridan's neck as the other moaned.
"Sol..."
Sollux pulled away with a devious grin on his face.
"Admit it fithface... I turn you on," he purred in the highblood's ear.
He simply nodded.
"Good." And with that he was gone, leaving the sea dweller flustered, confused, and sexually frusterated.
That's when the feelings had started but after that day, Sollux hadn't even looked at him and from the amount of flirting he was doing with Feferi, he didn't feel the same.
'Just breathe Eri,' he though to himself, 'It was only a kiss,' He was lying to himself and he knew it. To him it was much more than that.
"Oh hey Eridan," Feferi said giggling, the yellow blooded troll's arm draped causualy around her shoulder. "Didn't see you there."
"Thup?"
He nodded at them, glaring at the ground. "Fef, Sol..."
"Everything okay?" she asked
"Wwhy do you care?"
Feferi frowned. "Um, because you are my Morial!"
She looked at Sollux smiling apologetically. "Can you give us a minuet?"
He nodded, patting Eridan's shoulder as he walked by which made the other flinch.
"So Mr. Grumpy Gills... What's wrong?" she hugged him tightly.
"Let go of me Fef. I don't want to talk to you right noww."
"What did I do?"
"Your fuckin flirtin wwith Sol! Its makin me sick!" He felt a tear roll down his face but wiped it away quickly.
"Eridan are you glubbing jelous?"
He pulled away quickly, glaring at the other sea dweller.
"You knoww wwhat Fef? I am jelous! You know why? 'Cus I havve red feelins for Sol and your just sittin there fuckin flirtin wwith him!"
"Eridan I didn't kn-"
"I hope he makes you happy." He turned on his heel, drawing the attention of the lowblood no to far from them. Eridan took a deep breath, walking toward him.
"Eridan? What wath that all about?" he asked confused.
He gave a small smile before a single word escaped his lips: "You..."
He ran past Sollux taking another deep breath before he whispered to himself again, "It was only a kiss..."
